An all-time favorite, with the mountains forming an amphitheater around the beach and with powerful waves that come crashing from Antarctica - tt is absolutely mesmerizing to watch... This film contains 2 scenes but from relatively similar vantage points. One is a late afternoon shot, and the other was taken 15 minutes later, as the sun was starting to set. A particularly red sunset over Cape Town (behind the camera and out of view) has caused a remarkably red glow on the cliffsides. The colours you see were not enhanced - this is what came straight out of the camera - it is not called the Fairest Cape for nothing... ;-)
